Netwalking
Connect with Yourself, Others, and Nature 🌿
Elevate Netwalking offers you the chance to step outside during your busy workday without compromising your productivity and reconnect: with yourself through coaching, with others through networking, and with nature as you take in beautiful local surroundings.
What Is Netwalking?
Netwalking is a refreshing alternative to the usual business networking—no conference rooms or elevator pitches. Instead, it’s a chance to connect with like-minded business owners in nature, where the conversation goes beyond the traditional elevator pitch format.
Walking side-by-side outdoors opens a new kind of connection, helping you get to know the person behind the business, creating bonds that encourage genuine support and collaboration.
In a world where most of us work long hours indoors, in artificial light, with constant connection to technology, stress, overwhelm, and burnout are common. This disconnection impacts productivity, decision-making, and even our sense of well-being. Elevate Netwalking helps to counter this: making time each month to connect with others in an outdoor setting is not only good for you but also for your business.
How We Make It Unique:
Each netwalking event has a light group coaching theme, with a specific business challenge that many business owners face. Your host is a qualified coach who guides the group and encourages fresh perspectives on these challenges. The group dynamic also allows everyone to share insights and experiences in a supportive environment.
Respecting the natural environment is core to Elevate Netwalking. We encourage mindfulness of the surroundings and may provide insights into the local area as part of the experience. Additionally, 10% of ticket sales go to a charity chosen by each event’s ambassador, making it a way to support not only personal growth but also the community.
Who it's for:
The people who join our events generally appreciate the importance of taking time out in nature as part of their working rhythm to protect their mental and physical well-being. After all, as small business owners, we are our business; if we are not investing in ourselves regularly, we are not protecting the future of our business.
Participants tend to recognise how effective time in nature can be. They value helping others as much as themselves and often don’t enjoy traditional networking events, even though they acknowledge that networking is an important part of building a business. They understand that the effects of sitting down, being overstimulated by noise, and the fast pace of traditional networking events don’t always bring out the best in them. Instead, they are looking for genuine connections rather than superficial interactions, valuing authenticity over quantity.
We attract a diverse range of business owners—from those in the health and wellness space to financial advisors, car sales brokers, property developers, and many more in between. It’s not about what industry your business is in; it’s about connecting with people on a human level so they actively seek out ways to help and support you. Whether you’re a seasoned business owner or just starting out, our events provide a welcoming space for everyone to connect and grow. Our participants share a commitment to well-being and personal growth, understanding that investing in themselves ultimately benefits their businesses and communities.
Benefits of Group Coaching within the netwalking events:
Group coaching during our netwalking events offers a unique opportunity for you to gain different perspectives on challenges you might currently be facing. By sharing experiences and challenges with other business owners, you can uncover new insights and approaches that can help with your own business. This environment builds accountability, encourages creative problem-solving, and creates a sense of community among those who join us. As each of us contributes our thoughts and experiences, each event creates an experience that can’t be replicated and definitely not produced in an indoor environment. Each event provides a wonderful resource for inspiration and motivation, helping to enhance your personal growth and professional development.
Mission & Values
At Elevate Netwalking, our mission is to redefine the workday experience by showing that spending time outdoors is not a threat to productivity; it enhances both well-being and business outcomes.
Today’s sedentary, technology-saturated lifestyles have led to rising levels of stress and burnout. We believe stepping outside and engaging with others in a natural setting positively impacts mental and physical health while fostering connection, creativity, and growth. By embracing movement, mindfulness, and nature, we create an environment that inspires innovation and well-being, where everyone can thrive.

Absolutely loved this morning! Thank you Ellie Lloyd-Jones for arranging! Stunning walk around Delamere while we discussed our businesses and lives! I would really recommend this to anyone in business to get involved with as unlike other networking events you get to know each other on a more personal level while taking in the nature around you. Will 100% do this again!

A really lovely netwalking event today with the group. Mike was easy going, a perfect facilitator of provoking questions as well as offering advice. He is a great listener. Never heard of “Psychological Safety” before so a good one to discuss for those working alone. A great set up of sharing each other’s company in time slots providing great structure to the time spent together. Look forward to the next one, the time flew by!

What To Expect:
Duration: Each walk typically covers around 5 km and lasts for about 2 hours. This allows for a steady pace while incorporating time for pause points and reflections.
Format: The format is determined by the individual host at each location, but there is a general flow of walking and talking. Participants can expect pauses to introduce coaching topics, switch walking partners, and take time to reflect on their experiences.
Group Size: We aim to keep the group size to approximately 10 participants per event. This helps preserve space for meaningful connections and ensures psychological safety for everyone involved.
