Team Coaching

Discover How Nature-Based Coaching Can Transform Your Team.

You care about your team. You want them to thrive. But between hitting targets, supporting individual needs, and managing change, finding the time and space to focus on well-being and team culture can feel impossible.

Even when you do check in, “Are you okay?” doesn’t always get an honest answer. The barriers to open, meaningful conversations are real - and without the right environment, people often stay silent.

That’s where I come in.

I help teams step outside their usual work environment - or bring the outdoors in - to strengthen trust, build resilience, and create a culture where people feel safe, valued, and supported.

And with my Team Ecosystem Review & Culture & Well-being Map, we go deeper - using real insights to design nature-based coaching experiences that meet your team’s specific needs.

What is Nature-Based Coaching?

Nature-based coaching moves team development beyond the usual meeting rooms and into a setting designed for clarity and connection. Whether we’re walking side-by-side outdoors or bringing nature’s energy indoors, this approach helps teams reset, reconnect, and move forward together.

Why It Works:

People open up in the right environment. When workplace barriers are removed, honest conversations happen naturally.
New perspectives emerge. Movement and nature stimulate creative problem-solving and deeper thinking.
Stress reduces, focus increases. Time in nature is proven to lower stress hormones and improve concentration.
Trust grows. Teams connect more deeply when they share experiences outside their usual roles.

While outdoor sessions offer the full benefits of blue-green spaces, indoor sessions integrate sensory-rich elements like essential oils, nature-inspired activities, and tactile tools to enhance focus and engagement.

Why choose Nature-Based Coaching?

Our approach creates a setting where your team can thrive - whether that’s an inspiring outdoor location or a thoughtfully crafted indoor environment.

Nature-based coaching allows teams to thrive by engaging not only the mind but also the body and senses. Stepping into nature provides a unique space for whole-body intelligence - something that traditional office environments often overlook.

In nature, your team can step back from daily pressures, connect more meaningfully, and approach problem-solving creatively. Using somatic techniques, we help participants listen to cues from their whole bodies, uncovering what may be holding them back or impacting productivity. This approach not only fosters well-being but also improves collaboration and resilience.

Why it works:

Many organisations see well-being as an extra - something to focus on when there’s time. But the reality? When your people thrive, your business thrives.

Employees who feel supported in their well-being are 3.5x more likely to thrive at work. (AXA Mind Health Report 2024)

Teams that focus on strengths every day are 12.5% more productive and 8x more likely to be engaged. (Gallup, State of the Global Workplace)

🌍 Bringing your team outdoors creates the conditions for trust, problem-solving, and real engagement.

This approach is also backed by ongoing research I am conducting with Professor Jonathan Passmore along the River Thames, studying the impact of blue-green spaces on well-being.

Our findings so far? Nature enhances connection, focus, and the ability to navigate challenges. And that’s exactly what your team will experience.

How it works.

🔹 Step 1: Pre-Session Consultation & Team Check-in
We start with a conversation about your team’s needs. Then, we send out a Team Ecosystem Review survey to gather insights that will shape the experience. I then use the results of this review to create a Culture & Well-being Map which will highlight the key areas for development.

🔹 Step 2: Outdoor Team Coaching Session
Sessions are held outdoors or in a nature-inspired setting, incorporating movement, coaching techniques, and reflective exercises.

🔹 Step 3: Post-Session Insights & Action Points
After each session, I provide a summary of key takeaways and next steps - ensuring ongoing progress.

🔹 Step 4: Ongoing Seasonal Development
To ensure lasting impact, I offer a seasonal coaching framework, with sessions designed to evolve with your team’s needs:

🌱 Spring Renewal – Fresh energy, new opportunities
☀️ Summer Reflection – Celebrating progress & realigning goals
🍂 Autumn Harvest – Strengthening collaboration & resilience
❄️ Winter Wellness – Prioritising well-being & long-term vision

The Team Ecosystem Review & Culture & Well-being Map:

Most leaders have a sense of what their team needs—but what if you had real insights to guide the way?

This two-step approach helps uncover where your team is thriving and where they need support, so we can create a tailored coaching programme that delivers lasting impact.

🔹 Step 1: The Team Ecosystem Review 🌱
A short, anonymous survey designed to explore key areas like:
📢 Communication & trust – Are team members open, honest, and supportive?
💡 Well-being & stress – Are people feeling overwhelmed or engaged?
🤝 Collaboration & leadership – Are teams working efficiently and feeling valued?

🔹 Step 2: Your Culture & Well-being Map 🗺️
I’ll analyse the results and provide you with a clear, easy-to-understand report that highlights:
Where your team is thriving
The key areas for development
Tailored recommendations for moving forward

🔹 Step 3: A Tailored Seasonal Coaching Plan
Using these insights, I’ll design a bespoke outdoor coaching programme to help your team:
🌿 Step outside their usual work environment and gain fresh perspectives
🌿 Develop the skills they need most—whether it’s trust, communication, or resilience
🌿 Strengthen relationships and create a culture of openness and support

🔹 Step 4: Post-Session Insights & Action Points
One-off initiatives don’t build trust - consistency does. That’s why after each session, I provide a concise write-up of key themes, breakthroughs, and action points.

✔ Notable shifts or breakthroughs that emerged
✔ Key takeaways for leaders to focus on between sessions
✔ Practical action points to keep momentum going

This isn’t just about one good conversation - it’s about embedding real, ongoing change into your team culture.

Additional Benefits of Nature-Based Coaching

Nature-based coaching isn’t just a change of scenery—it’s a proven way to enhance team well-being, engagement, and performance. Here’s what your team can gain:

🌿 Increased Focus & Clarity
Research shows that time outdoors enhances cognitive function and improves focus. Employees who regularly engage with nature report higher energy levels and greater mental clarity - helping them tackle tasks with a fresh perspective (Berman, Jonides, & Kaplan, 2008; Kaplan, 1995; Pretty et al., 2005).

🌿 Reduced Stress & Anxiety
Spending time in nature has been shown to lower cortisol levels, the hormone linked to stress. In fact, employees who feel supported in their well-being are 3.5x more likely to thrive at work (AXA Mind Health Report 2024). By reducing workplace stress, teams become more resilient, creative, and adaptable.

🌿 Lasting Positivity & Engagement
Teams that focus on strengths daily are 12.5% more productive and 8x more likely to be engaged (Gallup, State of the Global Workplace). Our nature-based sessions help teams reconnect, strengthen relationships, and leave with a renewed sense of purpose—momentum that carries over into everyday work life.

By taking your team outside (or bringing nature in), we create the conditions for meaningful conversations, stronger connections, and real breakthroughs.

Here are some answers to some of the most common questions we get asked.

Dress comfortably, with layers for outdoor settings, or in relaxed clothing for indoor sessions.

Yes. You don't have to be fit for the outdoor sessions. They are naturally paced walks and can be adapted for accessibility.
